3. Service Appointments and Scheduling

When you schedule a service appointment, you agree to provide accurate information about your property, the nature of the issue, and your contact details. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled window, but appointment times are estimates and not guaranteed.

Cancellations made less than 2 hours before a scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee. Emergency service dispatch fees are non-refundable once a technician has been dispatched.

4. Pricing and Payment

Price estimates provided on our website are approximate ranges based on typical jobs and may vary based on actual conditions, parts availability, and scope of work. A final price will be provided and must be approved by you before work begins.

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, checks, and approved financing through our lending partners. Past-due balances may be subject to late fees and collection actions.

5. Warranty

All work performed by Florida Garage Door Authority is covered by our 2-year workmanship warranty as described on our Warranty Information page. Product warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers and are passed through to the customer.

Our workmanship warranty does not cover pre-existing conditions, misuse, acts of nature, or normal wear on consumable items. Full warranty details and exclusions are available at /warranty.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Florida Garage Door Authority, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Any third-party conduct or content related to our services
• Any other matter relating to our services

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Dispute Resolution

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.

Arbitration shall take place in Orlando, Florida. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorneys' fees unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.

Class Action Waiver: You agree that any disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Florida Garage Door Authority or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.
