1. Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Florida Garage Door Authority, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages (SMS and MMS) at the phone number you provide. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase.

You may opt in to receive messages by:

• Submitting a service request form on our website
• Providing your phone number during a service call
• Texting a keyword to our short code or phone number
• Opting in through a third-party lead or scheduling platform

2. Types of Messages

By opting in, you may receive the following types of text messages:

• Appointment Confirmations: Confirmations and reminders for scheduled service appointments.
• Technician Updates: Notifications about your technician's arrival, including estimated time of arrival and on-the-way alerts.
• Service Updates: Status updates about your service, including completion notifications and follow-up messages.
• Invoice and Payment: Invoice delivery, payment confirmations, and financing-related messages.
• Promotional Messages: Special offers, seasonal promotions, and maintenance reminders (if you opt in to marketing messages).

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Transactional messages (appointment confirmations, technician updates) are sent as needed based on your scheduled services. Promotional messages, if opted in, will not exceed 4 messages per month.

4. Opt-Out / STOP

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. Upon receiving your STOP request, we will send you a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent unless you re-opt-in.

Message and data rates may apply. Florida Garage Door Authority does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply depending on your plan. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

7. Consent Not Required for Purchase

Consent to receive automated text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Florida Garage Door Authority. You may choose to schedule services and complete purchases without opting in to SMS communications.

8. Supported Carriers

Our SMS service is supported by all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Service availability may be limited on some prepaid or MVNO carriers. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy

Your phone number and SMS opt-in data will not be shared with or sold to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your information may be shared with service providers who assist in delivering SMS messages on our behalf. 10. Liability

Florida Garage Door Authority is not liable for any delays or failures in delivering text messages, which may occur due to carrier network issues, device compatibility, or other factors outside our control. We are not responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier related to text messaging.

We reserve the right to modify these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated via text message or by updating this page. Continued receipt of messages after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
